Bauform 69 - 8cm heavy mortar emplacement with ring-stand - STL

This bunker was a small emplacement for an 8cm heavy mortar, it was often found arranged as part of a battery intended for infantry support or perimeter defence of larger bunker fortresses. It had a crew of 3 men and had the mortar pit with a 360 degree rotation and a ring-stand for a machine gun and for spotting purposes.

This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height. Epic scale will require 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height for best finish.

Supports are not needed for this model. At larger scales these bunkers may become larger than more common build-plate sizes; you may need to cut them into sections for your machine. Please check the size below.

The printed model measures approx.:

56mm x 91mm x 91mm @28mm Scale

37mm x 60mm x 60mm @00 Railway scale

28mm x 45mm x 45mm @15mm Scale

11mm x 19mm x 19mm @Epic scale

It is designed for 28mm table top games set in WW2 such as:

Bolt Action, Chain of Command and Konflikt ’47. It can also be used in games such as Judge Dredd, Necromunda and Fallout Wasteland.

Now rescaled to for Flames of War, epic and 00 railways by popular demand.

See the blog post notes on scales about resizing STL files.

Some of the images supplied are computer generated and are for reference. They are images of the files that will be 3D printed.

Print in place parts may need some work to loosen them up after print. Once free, run them through full travel several times to wear them in.
