Regelbau R654 anti-tank 5 cm KwK embrasure – 3D printed model

The Regelbau R654 bunker is a large concrete emplacement/embrasure for a 50mm KwK anti tank gun and was build in several places in the German Atlantik wall of WW2. Notably in the fort at Saint-Nazaire in France. The bunker contains a room for the anti-tank gun, a ring-stand for an observer or machine gun post, as usual with German bunkers the entrance is covered by 2 secure internal MG windows and there is a large ammunition storage room. The used shell casings are then ejected through a small chute in the wall to a collection pit to the side of the gun room.

This is a multipart model and is printed in PLA

The model measures approx.:

366mm x 236mm x 85mm @28mm Scale

240mm x 155mm x 55mm @00 Railway scale

183mm x 118mm x 42mm @15mm Scale

It is designed for 28mm table top games set in WW2 such as:

Bolt Action, Chain of Command and Konflikt ’47. It can also be used in games such as Judge Dredd, Necromunda and Fallout Wasteland Warfare

The outside of the bunker is a replica based on plans and source material, the interior has been edited to make the insides usable at scale, the walls are not 2.5m thick to scale for example. The 28mm version has been adjusted to allow bases to be placed in all rooms.

PLA models will be printed with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.3mm layer height.(epic will be with 0.4mm and 0.2mm layer height)
