The hardened chitinous bone structure can now take time to form into more complex forms, but for what purpose?

THE LOST BIO-LAB - Crustacean Room Tile Set - STL

A range of modular 3D printable terrain tiles compatible with the OpenLOCK system, forming a sci-fi dungeon complex.

The chitinous form of the organism spread into the rooms where it had time to solidify and develop into a more substantial structure, this new form gave it the space to create spawning grounds and feeding rooms for whatever would spring forth from it, what that would be is anyone’s guess.

3D Printed Space Hulk Terrain table STL Tile Files

This armoured fleshy material creates a real biological feeling to the bio-complex, Taking inspiration from the well known Tyranid style, this homage to them gives an idea as to what their lair may look like, These spawning and feeding rooms make great creche facilities for the proto organisms that could come from this ‘creature’.

See the flash fiction: Breakthrough at the Bio-Lab for a bit of background on what happened here.
