The day the earth stood still - Flying Saucer 1-150 scale – STL
This is a scale model of the flying saucer from ‘The day the earth stood still’ from 1951. The original ship was 30m in diameter so to enable it to fit onto standard size build plates it has been scaled to 1-150 scale. If you have a larger format printer then you can use our scale-converters to make it bigger to a specific scale.
This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height
Supports are not needed for this model.
It fits any Sci-fi, Dystopian future, post- apocalyptic or collapsed society.
The printed model measures approx.:
200mm x 200mm x 44mm @1/150 Scale (plus the ramp)
We have a handy calculator for resizing files for 3D printing over at scale-converters
It is designed as a display model
See the blog post notes on scales about resizing STL files.
Some of the images supplied are computer generated and are for reference. They are images of the files that will be 3D printed.
