The day the earth stood still - Flying Saucer – 3D printed model
This is a scale model of the flying saucer from ‘The day the earth stood still’ from 1951.
This STL file is designed for FDM Printers and print with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height
Supports are not needed for this model.
It fits any Sci-fi, Dystopian future, post- apocalyptic or collapsed society.
The printed model measures approx.:
200mm x 200mm x 44mm @1/150 Scale (plus the ramp)
300mm x 300mm x 67mm @1/100 Scale (plus the ramp)
It is designed as a display model
Scale is 28mm as standard, other scales are available on request, if the scale you desire is not listed please contact sales to see if we can accommodate you.
Resin models are printed at 0.05mm layer height
PLA models will be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height.
Some clean-up and finishing may be required.
Some of the images supplied are computer generated and are for reference. They are images of the files that will be 3D printed.
Models are supplied unpainted and will be printed to order.
Print in place parts may need some work to loosen them up after print. Once free, run them through full travel several times to wear them in.
We use recycled packaging!
