The realization of these two blockhouses dates from the end of 1942.

A divisive period for the occupying army which abandoned the idea of invading England and which in turn feared being invaded by the English army.

landing considered quite plausible in Brittany, and why not on the peninsula. The Todt organization (German engineers), requisitioned foreign workers and Camarétois are hard at work to transform each strong battery into an autonomous combat unit.

Until now, the infirmaries were assigned to residential houses from which the inhabitants had been evicted and relocated by the town hall of Camaret.

For the Grand Gouin battery, care was provided in the Lannic district. Regarding the Kerbonn battery , the first infirmary was in the Maury house in the hamlet of Kerbonn from July 11, 1940. The doctor had the family house emptied by putting the furniture in the courtyard and had the rooms disinfected.

The house turned out to be too small because the wounded were gradually pouring in.

British bombshells and German shrapnel claim victims. The doctor moved into the house of the man of the theater André Antoineon the Mountain, the artists' district which adjoins the battery and which is in all winds, facing the sea at the top of the cliff. On November 10, 1940, the infirmary returned to Kerbonn in the Pascau house, more sheltered from scattered English bombardments.
