Regelbau - Bauform 69 8cm heavy mortar emplacement with ring-stand – 3D printed model

This was a small emplacement for a heavy 8cm mortar and a crew of 3. It had a small gas tight command area and two combat posts. The ring-stand was for a machine gun and to be used by an observer or spotter. The mortar was positioned leaning on the plinth and able to rotate 360 degrees around the emplacement. Ammunition was stored in the walls surrounding the mortar. These often formed batteries and formed perimeter defences of larger bunker fortresses in combination with tobruk’s and other small MG positions.

The model measures approx.:

56mm x 91mm x 91mm @28mm Scale

37mm x 60mm x 60mm @00 Railway scale

28mm x 45mm x 45mm @15mm Scale

11mm x 19mm x 19mm @Epic scale

It is designed for 28mm table top games set in WW2 such as:

Bolt Action, Chain of Command and Konflikt ’47. It can also be used in games such as Judge Dredd, Necromunda and Fallout Wasteland Warfare

The outside of the bunker is a replica based on plans and source material, the interior has been edited to make the insides usable at scale, the walls are not 2.5m thick to scale for example. The 28mm version has been adjusted to allow bases to be placed in all rooms.

If the scale you desire is not listed please contact sales to see if we can accommodate you.

Resin models are printed at 0.05mm layer height

PLA models will be printed with a 0.6mm nozzle at 0.5mm layer height.(epic will be with 0.4mm and 0.2mm layer height)

Some clean-up and finishing may be required.
